Just came back from a very good lunch at El Ranchero on Winslow. The food was tasty, our waiter was excellent with a nice smile, but I liked the decor best of all: a wild array of large colorful painted murals, chairs, tables, even the ceiling depicting Mexican and tropical scenes. Lots to look at while you enjoy the food!

One of those places that from the outside you think, I'm going to eat here? but when you walk in. WOW! The atmosphere is as good as the food. Which is really good! A fun place with really good food.

I love that El Ranchero came to our side of town! The staff is always friendly and super accommodating and the food is always delicious. They make a mean margarita, too. El Ranchero is a great dinner option, a good place for families and for a getting together for drinks. Highly recommended!

Food is amazing. But. Here's why I gave it one star. Apparently since they have opened, they have charged a small fee if you decide to make an order to go. Just recently I noticed the charge on the receipt. So last time I was there I asked about the charge. Most of the employees speak Spanish and are hard to understand. When I asked they all gathered together at the register and talked about me asking about the charge. Once I got an answer about them always charging the fee I noticed they also rang up my order wrong then they had to call over a manager to fix it, at which time they brought up the take order fee again to him and continued to talk about me again after I was already told about the fee. Before the manager left the register he says we've always charged that fee and walks away. Don't think I'll be going back!!!
